What is your training methodology? Our core beliefs are compassion, determination, understanding, trust and confidence. It's at the heart of what we do, so we take these beliefs into all the work we do. We believe 100% on building a solid relationship with your animal first, then guiding them through training at a pace they are always comfortable with. There will be times they will be stressed, but it's normal. Any animal with issues is stressed, but it's essential, like with humans, to step outside of your comfort zone just that little bit, to grow. That's why we put such an emphasis on creating a relationship first, so we're able to lead them with compassion, understanding and determination through a bond of trust and confidence in us.

What does Equi-nine UK do differently than others in your field? It's no secret that there are countless great companies/trainers who are experts in their fields and can offer a variety of help in different ways, and we always encourage owners to seek out those who fit best with their goals. Where we believe we are different, is our approach and methods that we use. We aren't unique, we aren't at all pioneers of the way we work with our animals - It's been around for tens of thousands of years. We just tap into it and utilise what at the animal already knows. They speak their own language fluently, and we owe it to them to try to speak it too. You'll find many who will use the same approach regardless of the dog or horse in front of them, and this is where some get stuck - what works for one will not work for all. It's about understanding the animal in front of you, being confident in yourself (it's where they'll draw theirs from!), 'speaking their language' to gain their trust, showing compassion for their issues and being determined to succeed in helping them, and that's where we are different. We take a purely psychological approach that we can demonstrate in front of you time and time again, which makes our results predictable and reliable.

What's the best way to get in touch with you?Message or email is usually our preferred method of contact, so we both have everything on file and can refer to it at any time. Even the smallest details can be of the greatest importance, so we always try to get everything on file so we can all see the information if we need to refer to it.
